November 2023 | A new blog from Knowledge Alliance features South Dakota’s work to support teachers in the implementation of the Oceti Sakowin Essential Understandings and Standards (OSEUS) in classrooms across the state through a partnership with South Dakota Department of Education, the Office of Indian Education—Department of Tribal Relations, and McREL. The blog is an interview with McREL’s Research and Evaluation Director Susan Shebby and Dr. Dorothy Aguilera-Black Bear about the work and their roles as project leads for the (McREL-operated) Region 11 Comprehensive Center’s South Dakota Bright Spots project.
