Monitoring Implementation of School Initiatives

This course provides principals and other school leaders an opportunity to reflect on and assess their practices for managing, monitoring, and supporting the implementation of school improvement efforts. Lessons include learning how to craft a theory of action, how to help staff understand new procedures and expectations, and how to identify and monitor key data to gauge progress and inform adjustments. Includes three tools leaders can use to help plan effective implementation monitoring efforts at their own schools.

BL Facilitator Renewal
For currently authorized workshop facilitators
Currently authorized facilitators of McREL’s Balanced Leadership for Student Learning professional learning program who wish to continue delivering BL workshops and training during the 2023-24 school year must complete a 2-hour live online renewal session with McREL this summer. For your scheduling convenience, there are four available sessions to choose from—you only need to register for and attend one of these sessions.

Completion of this session will extend your authorization to deliver BL workshops to current and aspiring principals, teacher leaders, and other leadership colleagues in your school district for another calendar year.
