June 2023 | Providing students with the time for “academic talk” during class is critical for student learning, McREL consultant Michele Kimball explains in the latest issue of EdWeek’s Classroom Q&A column with Larry Ferlazzo.

Michele, along with other industry experts, provides advice based on the prompt: Everything you wanted to know about supporting English language learners to speak English but were afraid to ask. Learn more about the process and how it benefits all students in their speaking and writing skills by reading her full response. Read the post here.
