McREL’s research on instruction focuses largely on updating Classroom Instruction That Works but also includes studies and analysis for the Stupski Foundation on the best assessment and pedagogical strategies to support urban students of color. In addition, McREL has conducted studies on dropout rates and strategies to help struggling readers.
