Deliver CITW Professional Learning at Your School/District

Become the in-house expert trainer for your school, district, or service area! Get authorized to deliver these 2-day CITW sessions using McREL materials:

  1. Getting Students Interested In and Committed to Learning: Phases 1 & 2 of the 6-Phase Model of Student Learning
  2. Helping Students Focus and Make Sense of Their Learning: Phases 3 & 4 of the 6-Phase Model of Student Learning
  3. Helping Students Extend and Appy Their Learning: Phases 5 & 6 of the 6-Phase Model of Student Learning

The CITW Facilitator Training and Authorization Process

  1. Attend the three 2-day courses as an active, engaged participant, either in person at our Austin, Texas facility, or online via streaming.  Upcoming schedule of sessions.
  2. Participate in a 45-minute Facilitator Debrief following each day’s participant session.
  3. Submit a brief reflection and planning document after each 2-day course.
  4. After attending the three 2-day courses, attend a final online meeting with McREL’s expert staff to review facilitation materials, protocols, and annual agreement.
  5. Pay annual fee: $2,500 the first year; $1,500 renewal fee in subsequent years.

After that, you can deliver unlimited CITW workshops at your school/district or within your regional service agency boundaries, for as long as you remain authorized (annual renewal required). For the sessions you deliver, you will direct participants to purchase required materials from McREL.
