The CITW Facilitator Training and Authorization Process
- Attend the three 2-day courses as an active, engaged participant, either in person at our Austin, Texas facility, or online via streaming. Upcoming schedule of sessions. After each day’s session, you’ll stay in the room to have a 30-45 minute conversation with McREL’s expert facilitators, to debrief and reflect on the workshop content and facilitator responsibilities. Then, after each 2-day event concludes, you’ll submit a brief 1-2-page feedback and reflection document.
- After attending all three 2-day sessions, attend a final 90-minute online meeting with McREL’s CITW leaders to receive additional insights and facilitator materials, clarify understanding, and review processes for running your own sessions (including ordering participant materials).
- Pay annual fee: $2,500 the first year; $1,500 renewal fee in subsequent years.
Once you’re on board, you’ll get a wealth of McREL-developed presentation materials to help you build out your workshops—and you can deliver as many sessions as you want. You or your participants will need to order participant manuals from McREL for each of your sessions.
You’ll also have access to a monthly, one-hour, online group meeting where authorized facilitators can meet with McREL staff to ask questions, share insights and tips with fellow facilitators, and get guidance on prepping for upcoming sessions. This meeting is optional—attend if and when you need to.
