McREL: Turning what works in teaching, leading, and learning into innovation and results

Event Co-Host Opportunity

Goals/Objectives  In a world of shrinking budgets, professional development dollars are at a premium, and it's often difficult to bring quality professional development on-site. We created the Event Co-Host Opportunity for schools, districts, and other organizations to be able to deliver affordable and high-quality professional development.
Description  When co-hosting with McREL, we bring research-based, classroom-tested professional development to your school or district. You provide input on the topics most pertinent to your needs, the date, and the location. In turn, we offer special pricing and provide complimentary attendance passes, event-planning expertise, and customized promotional materials to help enlist participation from surrounding districts to further offset costs.

To ensure success, our experienced presenters work with you to create an event that meets your needs and those of surrounding districts. McREL's research-based workshops include:

  • Classroom Instruction that Works®
  • Classroom Instruction that Works for English Language Learners®
  • Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works®
  • Common Core Initiative Support
  • Focusing Personnel Evaluations on What Matters Most™
  • School-Level Leadership
  • District-Level Leadership
  • School Culture and Diversity
  • Leading/Managing Change
  • Early Childhood Education
  • Simply Better: Doing What Matters Most to Change the Odds for Student Success

Target Audience  School and district leaders, educational organizations
