Balanced Leadership® Institutes at McREL

Goals/Objectives

To positively affect student achievement, school leaders need to know not only what to do but also how, why and when to do it. McREL's research on leadership, which addresses all the dimensions of effective leadership, is the foundation for our Balanced Leadership Institutes.

McREL offers a series of professional development sessions in which practitioners learn about and apply the leadership responsibilities and practices identified in School Leadership that Works: From Research to Results and School District Leadership that Works®: The Effect of Superintendent Leadership on Student Achievement.
