Goals/Objectives  

Participants in this workshop will

  • extend and refine their knowledge of the nine research-based categories of instructional practices,
  • gain an understanding of how to "unpack" curriculum,
  • learn how to align types of knowledge with instructional strategies, and
  • use a model for planning that develops instructional coherence.
Description  The challenge of improving student performance is greater than ever before - thus, this workshop has never been more important. In this fast-paced, two-day workshop, you'll take an in-depth look at nine categories of research-based instructional strategies and the impact each has on curriculum, alignment, and planning for teaching and learning.
