As a lead consultant, Julie develops and markets McREL's national conferences and workshops. She also manages McREL's co-host opportunities, which bring research-based professional development to schools and districts, and pursues partnerships with like-minded organizations. Prior to joining McREL, Julie owned and operated an event-planning company that focused on education events. She received a bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Florida in Gainesville.
