High-Needs High Schools: What Does It Take to Beat the Odds?

Audience(s): Administrators and Policymakers

Product Description:

The study identified four key components of school success: Leadership, Professional Community, School Environment, and Instruction. The findings suggests that low-performing, high-needs schools don’t need to focus on reorganizing their schools, but should instead focus on school-wide policies and practices, especially through the role of leaders.
