  • A descriptive analysis of the SASS data
  • A categorization of rural high schools as "successful" or "unsuccessful" in recruiting and retaining and a comparison of their strategies
  • Follow-up telephone interviews with principals from seven schools who reported success in rural teacher recruitment and retention
