SQUARE NUMBERS

A square number is the number of dots in a square array, or a number that can be written as a whole number times itself.

For example, some square numbers are 0, 1, 4, 9, 16, 25, and so on.

0 = 0 x 0 1 = 1 x 1 4 = 2 x 2
9 = 3 x 3 16 = 4 x 4 25 = 5 x 5

Problem 1 Find the smallest positive integer N such that the product N x 88 is a square number.

Problem 2 Find the largest square number that is a divisor (factor) of 42 336.

Problem 3 Write 1 000 000 (one million) as a product of two square numbers neither of which is a multiple of 10.
