Building Policy Platforms for Resilience Brief
McREL and the KnowledgeWorks Foundation have partnered to create a series of briefs and workshops based on The 2020 Forecast: Creating the Future of Learning, designed to engage leaders in co-creating the future of learning. This brief examines the policy implications of two drivers of change presented in the 2020 Forecast. These drivers—A New Civic Discourse and Platforms for Resilience—point to emerging trends in the areas of participatory media and virtual communities that are empowering individual citizens to organize around common interests and that pressure institutions to change in fundamental ways.
