Matthew Seebaum has served in many capacities in the education and non-profit arenas. He has served as an elementary school principal for 10 years, president of a non-profit foundation, trainer, consultant, author, and as a classroom teacher during his career. Matt is a nationally recognized expert in the field of economic diversity and worked as a consultant, trainer, and author with Dr. Ruby Payne and associates for more than 10 years before joining McREL. At McREL, Matt serves as a principal consultant and works on many special projects related to Balanced Leadership, serving a large and diverse client base. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming, a master's degree from Texas Tech University, and a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.
