As a STEM specialist, Matt conducts professional development in instructional technology integration, technology leadership, mathematics, and science. He is a co-author of Using Technology with Classroom Instruction that Works (ASCD, 2007). Prior to joining McREL, Matt was a secondary science/math teacher and principal. He has a B.S. in aircraft engineering technology from Embry-Riddle University, an M.A. in secondary science education from the University of Denver, and a Ph.D. in educational technology administration from the University of Denver.
