As a lead consultant at McREL's Pacific Center for Changing the Odds, Jean is a project manager for the Pacific Region Education Laboratory contract with the Institute of Education Sciences, working with team members to meet the needs of educators in the Pacific Region. Prior to joining McREL, Jean coordinated projects on disability studies at the University of Hawai`i at Mānoa Center, including a randomized controlled trial for diabetes, data collection projects for the state of Hawai`i Department of Health Developmental Disabilities Division, and a large-scale national study for Medicaid Incentives to Prevent Chronic Disease. Jean holds a bachelor's degree in international business from Hawai`i Pacific University and a master's degree in educational technology from the University of Hawai`i.
