As a principal consultant at McREL, Dana assists schools in implementing McREL's Success in Sight school improvement program. She also supports McREL's 21st Century Community Learning Centers work in afterschool programs. Prior to joining McREL, Dana was a middle and high school teacher, teacher-leader, principal, and educational consultant providing coaching and consulting services to teachers and leadership teams. Dana holds a B.A. in German and secondary education from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and an M.A. in community counseling and school guidance counseling from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado.
