Jane Best is chief governmental relations officer. She represents McREL to state and federal policymakers, associations, and other national organizations. She previously served as a senior policy associate for the Regional Education Laboratory (REL) Midwest at Learning Point Associates in Chicago, a senior policy specialist at the National Conference of State Legislatures in Denver, and as a policy associate for the Vanderbilt University Peabody Center for Education Policy. Jane holds a Ph.D. in higher education leadership and policy studies from Vanderbilt University.
