McREL’s comprehensive program evaluation services
Many ARRA grant programs require rigorous evaluations to gauge the impact of improvement efforts. At McREL, we have a long history of providing program evaluation services to national, state, and local agencies, foundations and private organizations.
Our approach to evaluation is
Collaborative. We involve key stakeholders in the design and implementation of our evaluations and work collaboratively to refine objectives, document processes, measure outcomes, and interpret and communicate findings.
Cost-efficient. We capitalize on existing information and data sets, thus minimizing the demands on school and institutional staff time and resources.
Scientifically rigorous. Our evaluators employ an appropriate mix of qualitative and quantitative methods in order to better understand and document the perspectives held by various project stakeholders. We also understand how to measure and report on Government Performance and Results Act requirements, commonly known as GPRA.
Capacity building. Our evaluators aim to build stakeholders’ capacity to incorporate evaluative practices and use evaluation information to strengthen and advance program work.
